Water Resources Management

Integrated Water Resources Management

Water scarcity is a growing global challenge with increasing demand from populations, industries, and ecosystems. According to the WMO State of Global Water Resources, more than 3 billion people are currently facing water shortages, a figure which is expected to rise to over 5 billion people by 2050. Managing water resources effectively requires a holistic, intersectoral approach.

We support our clients in implementing Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) by strengthening policy, legal, and institutional frameworks and promoting intersectoral collaboration. Our services include the development of action plans, stakeholder engagement strategies, and participatory mapping to enhance governance and decision-making. We also provide technical expertise in water balance assessments, climate scenario modelling, and capacity building for data collection and analysis. Additionally, we assist in procuring hydrological monitoring infrastructure and support the use of water planning tools like WEAP.

Through these participatory and knowledge-driven approaches, we improve water management practices, enhance institutional capacities, and support climate resilience, ensuring sustainable and equitable water resource use for present and future generations.
