Water Resources Management

Watershed Management

Watersheds provide essential ecosystem services, regulate water flows, and sustain communities. However, they face increasing pressure from pollution, deforestation, land degradation, and unsustainable land use practices, threatening both biodiversity and water security.

We support integrated watershed management through participatory planning, erosion control measures, and land-use management strategies. Our services include the development of watershed management plans, pasture management strategies, and land registration initiatives. We assist in implementing nature-based solutions, such as afforestation and soil conservation techniques, to stabilise landscapes and prevent erosion. Additionally, we provide technical support in watershed modelling and facilitate the use of planning tools like WEAP to improve water resources management.

By strengthening watershed governance and promoting sustainable land and water use practices, we enhance ecosystem resilience, protect biodiversity, and secure water availability for communities, agriculture, and industries.
