Climate Support

The effective channeling of climate support is a fundamental pillar of the Paris Agreement, addressing the conditionality of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), promoting equity among countries, and encompassing capacity building, technology transfer, and climate finance.

We support partners in accessing and utilising climate support in all its forms. Through targeted training and institutional capacity building, we strengthen local expertise and ensure the long-term integration of climate knowledge. Collaborating with universities, technical and vocational education and training (TVET) centres, and other stakeholders, we help institutionalise climate education and skill development at the national level. By facilitating international exchange and providing access to state-of-the-art technologies and best practices, we contribute to technology transfer and long-term cooperation. This is particularly relevant in promoting climate-friendly production methods, integrating resilience into infrastructure planning, and advancing the energy transition.

Additionally, we assist partners in accessing, managing, and monitoring climate finance in line with international compliance, integrity, and accountability standards. Our support includes project formulation, including bankable projects, along with planning, implementation, and reporting tailored to the evolving climate finance landscape.

These efforts empower developing countries to mitigate and adapt to climate change effectively while advancing long-term, resilient and low-carbon development.
