Award Recognition
The “Establishment of the Climate Resilient Local Infrastructure Centre (CReLIC)” has been recognised as Project of the Year 2025 (Runner-up) in the Infrastructure (Large) category at the Bangladesh Project Management Awards 2025. The Bangladesh Project Management Awards is the flagship annual event of the PMI Bangladesh Chapter, recognising outstanding achievements in three categories: Project of the Year, Project Manager of the Year, and PMO of the Year. The 2025 competition received a broad set of nominations across Infrastructure, IT, and Social Impact, with multiple laureates acknowledged for excellence in advancing project management practice and demonstrable impact.
A delegation from the CReLIC implementation team, led by Mahmood Reaz, Senior Institutional Development Specialist of the project, was present to receive the award at the ceremony on Saturday, November 8, 2025. Such recognition is significant as it affirms methodological rigor, strengthens stakeholder confidence, and enhances dissemination of best-practice approaches for climate-resilient local infrastructure.
The Project Management Institute (PMI), founded in 1969, is the leading global association for project management professionals, with extensive membership and established professional standards.
