For our Regional and Economic Development Department we are looking for an Expert (m/f/d) in Circular Business Models with International Experience for a project in Jordan (Tender Process; part-time).

Main topics to be covered include Circular Business Models and Product Design.

Relevant areas of expertise:
1. Methodologies to manage innovation processes
2. Advisory to SMEs in developing circular business models

Project period:
01/11/2025 - 31/05/2027

Responsibilities:

• Development of a framework methodology for circular business models to be implemented by the project introduced to the intermediaries and selected businesses.
• Development of training materials, including a didactic concept on relevant circular economy approaches, e.g. resource efficiency, product design or business and production processes and selection and oversight of topic specific trainers
• Technical support and backstopping during the roll-out of the green/circular concepts for products and services with companies

Qualifications and Skills:

• Masters in economics or business management or innovation management
• English C2
• A total of 4 company-internal assignments or consulting projects each with 30 expert days or more in the last 5 years providing methodological guidance to SMEs in managing innovation processes (e. g. Design Thinking, Circo Track)
• A total of 2 company-internal assignments or consulting projects each with a minimum of 30 expert days in the last 5 years providing advisory services to SMEs in developing circular business models (e. g. Product Design, Material substitution, Product-as-a-Service Models, Sharing-Models, Repair & Maintenance Services, Resource Recovery
• Several years of professional experience in Europe and/or North America and/or East Asia and/or Southeast Asia and/or Australia
• 1 year of professional experience in MENA
