To strengthen our finance team in Amman/Jordan, we are looking for support in our financial project controlling. If you enjoy taking on business responsibilities in international projects, working closely with specialist groups and project managers, and contributing to the further development of our finance department, then we look forward to receiving your application!
Responsibilities:
Supporting and advising department leads and project managers in all business matters
Financial and commercial management of projects together with the project manager
Preparing financial proposals and cost calculations
Assisting in preparing quarterly reports
Supporting projects year-end closing tasks
Issuance of client invoices and consortium settlements
Correspondence with clients, consortium partners, project staff
Checking project accounts and posting business transactions internally at Dorsch Impact
Preparation of project-specific data for further processing in Dorsch Impact's internal accounting system
Review and approve freelancers’ invoices based on signed agreements
Any other requested task by line manager.
Your profile
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting
4 to 7 years of experience in project controlling or project accounting, ideally with international and multi-cultural organizations (experience with IFIs and NGOs is desirable)
High level of responsibility and reliability with exceptional attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Very good command of English is a must, German or French language skills desirable.
Ability to work in a team, excellent communication skills and assertiveness
You are proficient in using common MS Office applications (especially Excel) and enjoy learning new IT systems.
