For our growing business we are looking to hire a Project Manager (m/f/d) within the Water and Agriculture Department.
As a Project Manager (m/f/d) you will work in a team of consultants in the areas of project management, acquisition of new projects and business development.
We are looking for motivated and committed colleagues (m/f/d), who will support us in the day-to-day management of our on-going projects and assist us in the acquisition of new projects.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Expert-missions in your field of expertise
- Preparation of prequalification documents
- Preparation of technical and financial bids
- Project Management (technical, administrative, financial)
- Backstopping missions
Education:
University degree in the fields related to
- Civil engineering
- Water Resources Management
Country / regional experience:
Several years of previous working experience in an international environment and in development cooperation, preferably in francophone Africa (e.g. Burkina Faso, Chad, Mali, Niger, Tunisia).
Languages:
Excellent French and English language skills.
Language skills in German would be a strong asset.
Profile:
- Prior work experience in donor funded water resources projects
- Experience with Organizational Development and Institutional Support (in particular for Basin Organizations/Water Authorities)
- Ability to work in intercultural teams and willingness to travel abroad
- Communicate with client and donor agencies
- Proven writing, communication and presentation skills
- Working experience in development cooperation
