Circular Economy for a Climate-Friendly Development

The implementation of the Roadmap to a Circular Economy in Peru's industrial sector and public institutions faces significant challenges due to insufficient fundamental conditions. This project aims to address these gaps and improve conditions for implementing the Circular Economy Roadmap.

As part of the program “Sustainable Urban Development in Times of Climate Change in Peru”, the project focuses on providing environmentally and climate-friendly goods and services, such as water, mobility, energy, and waste management to Peru’s urban population while ensuring their sustainability amidst climate change.

The project’s efforts are concentrated on three key areas: enhancing regulatory, coordination, and financing frameworks for circular economy; raising awareness and facilitating knowledge transfer in this field; and improving qualification and support services to implement its measures effectively.
