For our Good Governance and Civil Society section, we are looking for a national NRW Expert for the tender process of the Gender and Social Awareness Consultant (GSAC) for Water Loss Reduction Programme in the Mafraq Regional Operating Unit, Jordan. Main topics include Non-revenue water, non-metered water consumption and water loss reduction.

Responsibilities:

• Support, design and implementation of project activities, regarding non-revenue-water, non-metered water consumption and water loss reduction.

Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant advanced engineering degree;
• 5 years' experience in non-revenue water, incl. reduction of and non-metered water consumption
• 5 years' experience in household water audits, incl. check of metering
• Fluency in both written and spoken English.

Desirable additional expertise: 

• Additional relevant academic or professional qualifications;
• Training experience;
• Previous work experience in Mafraq ROU.
