The City of Arts and Culture is a 127-acre landmark in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital, hosting one of the region’s largest opera houses, concert and drama halls, museums, and a capital library. Delivered in just 3.5 years, ECG led the full consultancy scope — from design to supervision — shaping a world-class cultural hub that blends heritage with innovation.
The City of Arts and Culture is one of the largest integrated cultural complexes in the Middle East, located in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital. Spanning 127 acres, it hosts an opera house (2,155 seats), concert and drama halls, a 9,000 m² Capital Library, the 8,500 m² Museum of Egyptian Capitals, rehearsal and exhibition spaces, as well as 25 acres of landscaped green areas. Completed in a record 3.5 years, the project combines cultural heritage with modern innovation, positioning Egypt as a global hub for arts and creativity.
